This 18,000 SF retrofit of an existing factory building in Brooklyn became the new central location for printing studios and auxiliary spaces for the creative agency Box Studios/KiDS Creative. One of the priorities during the design process was to maintain an open floorplan that would allow abundant natural light and facilitate a collaborative work environment. Paul A. Castrucci Architects tailored a design to meet the Client’s needs including the careful selection of finishes and details to preserve the texture of the original manufacturing facility. LED lighting and a high efficiency HVAC system were integrated into the building system to minimize energy consumption.
