FAVORITE NEIGHBORHOOD IN NYC

Bedford-Stuyvesant — centrally located by bicycle, great human-scale streets and buildings, a rare balance of old and new, mix of residential life and local businesses, with room to breathe and grow.

IF I COULD COLLABORATE WITH ANY ARCHITECT, LIVING OR HISTORICAL, IT’D BE

Alvar Aalto for his ability to incorporate experimentation into the final product of work and create deeply humane projects that are modern, contextual and deeply rooted in craft.

MY GO-TO MUSIC TO GET IN THE ZONE IS

This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About - Modest Mouse.

FIVE THINGS

The right music at the right time, my whole family on one cargo bike, coffee, interesting bugs, the smell after rain.

THE SUSTAINABLE TECH/METHOD THAT EXCITES ME MOST IS

Adaptive reuse.
